Marvel Studios and Sony Entertainment just released the second official trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, and it is just amazing. The second trailer is truly a "with great power comes great responsibility" style presentation. Filled with so much action, it makes you wonder what they have left for the actual movie. In the end you are left with one burning question, does the suit make the man?
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters July 7, 2017. Check out the trailer below:
When Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios reach an agreement to allow Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War and work together on the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, fans of Marvel Comics rejoiced, but lost in the shuffle was the fact that Sony still owned the rights to the Spidey-verse. Not only does Sony own Spider-Man, but they own some 900 other characters associated with the web crawler. Now Sony is looking to take full advantage of their property by delivering a Venom film that they believe fans deserve.
While a stand-alone Venom movie had already been in the works, Sony has been busy making sure that it does things the right way. Not only have the confirmed a release date for the movie (October 5, 2018) but they are also looking to make this movie the official beginning of their very own Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). They also look to capitalize on the huge success of 20th Century Fox’s Logan and Deadpool by making the Venom movie an R-rated project.
Venom is not the only project being discussed for Sony's MCU, the studio also has plans on a Black Cat and Silver Sable movie will reportedly be written by Chris Yost who also wrote the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. To be clear on this news, this will all be a part of Sony's own MCU and not connected to the Disney owned Marvel Studios in anyway.
Are you excited about an R-rated Venom? What do you think about Sony kicking off their own Marvel Universe? Be sure to let us know in the comments!

If you ever wanted to experience the mind numbing historic trill ride that you've seen in the Jurassic Park movies but didn't want to worry about the fear of the dinosaurs rebelling, the people behind the documentary miniseries "Walking with Dinosaurs" have something for you. This summer they will present a theme park like experience called "Dinosaurs In The Wild." It is being described as a “70-minute experience that combines dramatic storytelling, scripted actors, and high-end digital graphics and animatronics to create a believable prehistoric world.” The event will feature recreations of nine different dinosaurs, including the Tyrannosaurus rex, the Triceratops, the Alamosaurus, and the Ankylosaurus. There are slated to be other fun attractions too, like a VR experience that lets you see the ancient world through the eyes of the dinosaurs, and a test of your arm strength to see how it compares to that of a T-rex. You can check out the preview trailer below.
For now, the show is only scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom. From June 24 to August 24, it will be at NEC Arena in Birmingham, England before relocating to Manchester in October. Still, maybe we’ll get to see it in the US some day: Walking with Dinosaurs aired in the UK before coming to the US a year later, so perhaps this super cool show will experience the same fate
