If you ever wanted to take classes at Hogwarts, shop on Diagon Alley or visit the Leaky Cauldron, this summer you may be in luck. The town of Aurora will be transformed into a Harry Potter Wonderland this July for it's first ever Harry Potter Festival.
On July 30, Aurora will transform their downtown area into a world filled with wizard of all ages and types (muggles are welcome too). Visitors will be able to explore the magically shops of Diagon Alley, take Hogwarts classes ( Potions, Herbology, and Care of Magical Creatures), and sample wizard favorites like butterbeer and Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans. You can even dress up and take a ride on the Hogwarts Express.
Those interested in attending the Potter Fest should know that admission is free but there may be some activities that charge a fee. For more information visit their Facebook page here.
